So what is mindfulness and how does its' cultivation impact our authenticity?

Mindfulness is simply the practice of being aware. Mindfulness meditation coming soon.

It allows us to develop the space between reaction and response.  It is the slowing down, observing, noticing and intuiting what is around us through all of our senses.

The practice of mindfulness stills the "monkey mind" (fear/protect/ego) in order to hear the wise, discerning still small voice of your ever expansive, unconditionally loving soul....

It is a gateway to the essence underneath.....which in turn inspires Loving, Kind Action...the humbling experience of grace, compassion, peace and leadership from within... the inspiring courage required to make authentic choices, especially in the midst of push back as one is trying something new.

It increases awareness of yourself ("conscious competence"), and others (what's mine and what isn't). Holding the paradox of "Its not personal" while noticing the impact of our behaviours on others....taki
ng responsibility only for what is ours and at the same time holding compassion for the other and for ourselves.

It develops resilience, focus and stress management.

It develops strength of character while in struggle (another paradox)...
To repair and recover, make amends and be accountable again and again.

The strength to be 100% responsible for our thoughts and feelings - to notice and value them - they are just signals and if we ignore them, they get louder.  Notice them in the present moment, turn towards them and discern the truth of those thoughts and feelings in order take Loving, Kind Action toward ourselves and others.

We always have loving choices available to us.
