His personal study for the past 10 years has been of prehistory goddess cultures, and the transitions into patriarchy that have so heavily effected the status of Women and shaped the structure and perceptions of our present cultures.
Personal Statement
My studies have taken me on a very wonderful path. My own experiences with Karate, Reiki and other Asian studies, and now my studies in Women's history have profoundly changed my outlook on life, reality, and what that can mean for our collective culture. It has greatly influenced how and what I teach, and has allowed me to see and experience that very unique place where technique meets art to produce the miracle of intuitive and spontaneous response. That gift of intuitive insight and action is at work behind any true art. It changes an art form into the experience of art. Experiencing that place, is a spiritual experience.
