Pender Island Flute Retreat is a 7-day retreat to explore the physical, emotional and mental aspects of flute performing and pedagogy. The environment will allow the advanced flutist to reach new heights in performance and teaching through the integration of flute playing with personal development (with a particular focus on body awareness and performance psychology). Participants will be 18 and over. We invite you to come to one of the most peaceful places in Canada to re-connect with your soul through performance, contemplation and creativity.

The retreat is open to both Performers and Auditors.

Where:
The retreat is held at the stunning Clam Bay Retreat on Pender Island (www.clambay.com). Room and board are included in the fee. Beautiful Pender Island is located between Vancouver and Vancouver Island, and is accessible by ferry from either Vancouver or Victoria. (Check the BC ferry schedule here). With breath-taking beaches, fresh water lakes, scenic Mount Norman, arbutus trees (unique to the Northern West Coast), and tranquil rainforests, Pender is a Canadian paradise. Additional activities include biking, walking, swimming, kayaking and whale-watching.
