One of the foremost musical artists performing today; International Soloist William Bennett has raised the profile of the flute to that of an instrument capable of a wide range of tonal colours, dynamics, and expression, giving it the depth, dignity, and grandeur of the voice or a string instrument. Mr. Bennett is a former Principal Flutist with many orchestras, including the London Symphony, Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields, and the English Chamber Orchestra.
Lorna McGhee is hailed as one of the finest flutists of her generation. Currently Principal Flutist with the Pittsburgh Symphony, Ms. McGhee is a former co-principal flutist of the BBC Orchestra, and has been a guest principal with Chicago, London and Vancouver Symphonies. In the fall of 2015 Lorna will join the flute faculty at Carnegie Mellon University.
Described as "technically brilliant, and always musical...excellent..beautiful solo...", Calgary Herald, flutist Gwen Klassen is Assistant Principal Flute/Piccolo with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra. She is the Founder and Director of the Pender Island Flute Retreat, and Sessional Instructor at the University of Calgary.
Canadian Music Competition winner, Dr. Roger Admiral, pianist, performs solo and chamber music repertoire including performances with the Victoria Symphony, Vancouver New Music and in collaborative recitals at Lincoln Centre, Carnegie Hall and in Edmonton. He has commissioned and premiered many new compositions and performs regularly with Montreal percussionist Philip Hornsey (Kovalis Duo). Roger coaches contemporary chamber music at the University of Alberta.
